About the BIG Event

The BIG Event brings together 150+ STEM engagement and associated professionals from across the UK and beyond to share skills and experiences, develop professional links and keep up-to-date with the STEM engagement field. Many members come every year as this may be one of the very few places they can meet up with others in the same professional circumstances and who face similar challenges.

The BIG Event is a truly hands-on and participatory conference where STEM engagement practitioners of all kinds showcase their materials and activities and exchange ideas with others in the field. BIG encourages delegates to use the Event for peer review, sharing ideas and renewing enthusiasm for the work they do.

BIG Event delegates/session contributors receive one year’s membership to BIG.
